Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining a warehouse of oil and lubrication products.

Job Functions

• Perform pre-production duties, including ongoing maintenance in the warehouse
• Pull products to fill delivery orders and process related paperwork
• Perform post-production duties
• Participate in shipping and receiving products to include accurate verification of products, container size and counts
• Participate in monthly inventory counts
• Comply with all appropriate safety-related policies and procedures
• Complete daily tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Work cooperatively with co-workers and contribute to a cohesive work environment through a spirit of teamwork
• Perform all reasonable work-related assignments as requested by supervisor

Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent  
• Must be able to read, spell, write, and comprehend English at an intermediate level
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Experience with hazardous materials and lubricants is preferred
• Valid driver license is preferred
• Must be certified to operate a forklift
• Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred
• Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and to deal with problems and situations as they arise

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, stand, and reach above head on a continual basis
• Must be able to push, pull in excess of 2000 pounds with the aid of warehouse handling equipment
• Must be able to lift in excess of 75 pounds
