What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Lube- Sacramento, CA position at Diesel Direct Inc?
The position is based in Sacramento, CA and delivers lubrication and chemical supplies to customers within our geographic region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform vehicle pre/post-trip inspection in alignment with corporate and federal regulations
- Operate all equipment within guidelines of corporate or jurisdictional requirements, including all regulations
- Every truck is loaded with the correct product and quantity before exiting the yard
- Deliver bulk and packaged product to the customer after first verifying capacity and product accuracy
- Maintain all required paperwork, including delivery tickets, bills of lading, retain transactions, and logbook if applicable
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and contribute to a pleasant and accommodating work environment through a spirit of teamwork
- Perform all reasonable work-related assignments as requested by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The selected individual must at all times maintain the following in good status:
- DOT Medical Certification
- CDL (Class B)
- Minimum 2 years related to a commercial driving experience
- Must possess excellent customer service skills including telephone communication
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to continually lift up to 75
- Must be able to transition from driver to loader/unloader continuously
