The Role
Diesel Barbershop is hiring a working Manager or Co-Manager. A licensed stylist who leads from the chair. You'll spend the majority of your shift cutting while supporting team development, shop operations, and the client experience. This is not a booth rental and not a title-only position. This is a working leader role for someone who takes pride in both their craft and their team.
What You’ll Do:
Behind the Chair:
- Perform men's haircuts, fades, beard trims, and straight razor shaves
- Build client relationships that drive rebooking and retention
- Lead by example in professionalism, punctuality, and work ethic
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Coach staff on performance metrics (rebooking rate, average ticket, retail sales, and service time)
- Enforce Diesel standards and procedures (service steps, appearance guidelines, cash handling, phone etiquette, appointments)
- Assist with cash drawer accuracy, deposits, and end-of-day procedures
- Handle client concerns professionally
- Active Cosmetology license in PA
- Proven skill in men's cuts, fades, and razor work
- Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred
- Available nights and weekends
- Reliable, professional, and solution-oriented
- Must be available during shop open hours
