JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Training Specialist

Reports to: HR Manager / Store Manager
Job Summary
The Training Specialist is a Budtender that provides on-the-job training to newly hired employees as well as enhanced education to current employees to keep everyone up-to-date on internal policy and applicable procedures to meet job requirements. They work closely with the HR Manager and Store Manager to execute on objectives related to employee development, including orientation training, performance improvement training, and RVT administration.
Essential Functions
1. Complete action items from the Onboarding Dashboard for any incoming employees
(Orientation-training, RVT, Leafly)
2. Perform previously scheduled training with new or existing staff; maintain the training log accordingly
3. Maintain up-to-date individual CCC Training Logs and Training Agendas for all staff
4. Work from the training plan to schedule applicable training hours for staff 2 weeks in advance (limit OT)(get approved by manager)
5. Compile and distribute weekly quiz content through google forms and gmail, regarding products, policies, and procedures
6. Follow up with staff on any wrong answers from the weekly quiz or missed deadlines
7. Report to HR Manager and Store Manager on training progress and any additional needs
8. Review any Retail Personnel Assessments and follow up with staff for scheduled training as needed
9. Audit CCC Training Logs and Training Agendas for all staff
