Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Hand to join our dynamic team.
The Inventory Hand is a Budtender that is responsible for performing timely intake of products and maintaining an accurate inventory in the POS and seed-to-sale tracking systems. They ensure that the inventory needs of the store are met, including menu building, routine audits, product intaking/receiving, and reporting. They work closely with Store Management and the Inventory Specialists to utilize the company resources necessary to complete all inventory processes from when products are transferred into the dispensary to when they are sold to customers.
Essential Functions:
- Receive marijuana and accessory products as they arrive and ensure they are properly labeled, stored, and listed for sale in a timely manner.
- Perform frequent audits of inventory and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy across all systems
- Consolidate inventory reports to limit the number of unique SKUs in the vault, reconcile naming convention errors, and identify slow-moving items.
- Properly finish packages in Metrc and POS as items sell out.
- Troubleshoot item discrepancies and escalate to Store Management accordingly.
- Ensure all marijuana items are kept with their proper Metrc tags and stored in an orderly fashion for compliance with state regulations.
- Maintain accurate Inventory bin locations for Budtenders to reference when selling products.
- Delegate inventory tasks to Budtenders when they have downtime; address inventory escalations from front line staff
- Maintain accurate records of all signed manifests, invoices, and weight sheets
- Restock inventory on the sales floor and display cases as needed
- Complete the Inventory Hand Checklist in a timely manner
- Maintain the Internal Menu Audit to assist in flooring and procurement prioritization initiatives
- Assist the team in day to day operations to include opening and closing procedures, escalating shift checklists, and other duties as needed or assigned by management
