In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and replacing engines to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot engine problems to identify necessary repairs or replacements.
- Perform complete engine replacements in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Inspect and test engines and related components to ensure proper functioning after installation.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer communications.
- Collaborate with other service team members and communicate effectively with customers about repairs and maintenance.
- Keep the work area clean and organized following company and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with engine replacement expertise.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of engine systems and automotive repair practices.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus.
