Survey Crew Chief (2+ years experience)

Dieffenbauch & Hritz (D&H) is seeking Survey Crew Chief to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality surveying services as part of our comprehensive consulting firm, which specializes in civil, mechanical and structural engineering, environmental services, construction management and remote sensing.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute various land surveys, including boundary, construction, topographical, and civil surveys, utilizing GPS, conventional total station and leveling techniques.
• Serve as the primary field liaison for the Company, fostering positive relationships with clients, project superintendents, and property owners.
• Effectively manage a survey crew to ensure high productivity and efficiency on a daily basis.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent, a degree in surveying or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in using conventional and GPS survey equipment and software including Trimble, Leica and Nikon.
• Minimum of two years of land survey experience.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a motor vehicle report (MVR), ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background screening.

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 10 hour days.
• Overtime and occasional weekends may be required.
