Dieffenbauch & Hritz (D&H) is seeking Land Survey Crew Chief to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality surveying services as part of our comprehensive consulting firm, which specializes in civil and mechanical engineering, environmental services, construction management and remote sensing. The ideal candidate will live between Morgantown and the Wheeling, WV area. This employee will not report to our Morgantown office but will commute directly to the project site and will be assigned to work on projects north of our Morgantown, WV office.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute various land surveys, including boundary, construction, topographical, and civil surveys, utilizing GPS, conventional total station and leveling techniques.
- Serve as the primary field liaison for the Company, fostering positive relationships with clients, project superintendents, and property owners.
- Effectively manage a survey crew to ensure high productivity and efficiency on a daily basis.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, a degree in surveying or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in using conventional and GPS survey equipment and software including Trimble, Leica and Nikon.
- Minimum of one year of land survey experience.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a motor vehicle report (MVR), ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background screening.
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 10 hour days.
- Overtime and occasional weekends may be required.
