Dieffenbauch & Hritz is currently seeking a motivated Environmental Scientist to join our growing environmental team in Morgantown, WV. This qualified candidate will be responsible for performing and documenting routine environmental field investigations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Complete field work and reporting for projects including stream / wetland delineations, habitat assessments, botanical surveys, macroinvertebrate surveys, fish surveys, avian surveys, soil infiltration testing and Phase I site assessments.
- Prepare reports that document field survey results.
- Prepare permit applications.
- Complete with consultation with agency staff as required under Section 404 and 401 of the Clean Water Act and the Endangered Species Act.
- Assist with the preparation of biological inventories and NEPA documents.
