Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in fabrication and welding processes. This role involves working with various materials to create and assemble components, ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety protocols. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, utilizing machinery, and performing quality checks on finished products.
Duties
- Fabricate components according to specifications using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG.
- Operate machinery including laser cutting equipment and forklift for lifting heavy materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Perform rigging tasks to secure loads for safe transportation and assembly.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication processes is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- Proficient in operating plasma cutting machines and other fabrication tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including codes and standards relevant to the industry.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations are required.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) as needed during fabrication tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
