Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in our café. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service and attention to detail.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a range of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including the dining area, kitchen, and equipment.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing and payment handling.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is an asset.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively.
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Pay: $17.13 - $19.50 per hour
