Job Title: Field Mechanic - CNC Machine Tool Repair & Installation
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced field mechanic to join our team. As a field service technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining complex CNC machining centers and machine tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites to install, repair, and maintain CNC machining centers and machine tools
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment
- Identify and troubleshoot problems with machinery and perform repairs as needed
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Document work completed and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Degree in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering or a related technical field
- Extensive knowledge of CNC machining centers and machine tools
- Ability to travel extensively and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with:
- CNC machining centers from FANUC, Siemans, and CHIRON
- Mechanical systems and components
- Machine tool installation, repair, and maintenance procedures
