Insurance Claims Adjuster Job Description

• Investigate and evaluate coverage, liability, damages, and settle claims within prescribed authority levels.
• Identify potential suspicious claims and opportunities for third-party subrogation.
• Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information regarding claims.
• Respond to written and telephone inquiries, including status reports.
• Ensure adequacy of reserves.
• Negotiate settlements with attorneys, claimants, and co-defendants.
• Arrange for expert inspections involving third parties or potential fraud actions as needed.

Basic knowledge of legal liability and general insurance policy coverage is required. This is a highly visible position at a global insurance company where you will work with top legal and finance minds and the business community to bring together entities for greater efficiencies.

Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
