What You’ll Do
As a Packaging Operator/Mechanic, you’ll serve as a key technical resource on the shift. Responsibilities include:
- Operating and monitoring packaging and bulk load-out equipment to keep production running smoothly
- Performing basic mechanical troubleshooting, adjustments, and preventive maintenance on pack line equipment
- Supporting bulk load-out and warehouse activities, including forklift operation and loading/unloading shipments
- Identifying and resolving equipment or process issues before they impact production
- Completing quality checks, sample preparation, and required production paperwork
- Entering shipment and production data accurately in internal systems
- Performing deep cleaning and sanitation between production runs
- Collaborating with maintenance and operations teams to improve reliability and efficiency
- Continuing to grow your technical skills through ongoing training and development
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (technical or mechanical training strongly preferred)
- Prior manufacturing experience, ideally in a food-safe or regulated environment
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment or perform basic maintenance tasks
- Forklift experience required (or willingness to certify quickly)
- Comfortable working independently and serving as a go-to operator on the shift
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs, climb ladders, and work in hot, cold, or dusty conditions
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Salary : $22 - $25
