What are the responsibilities and job description for the AI Services Development Intern position at Didact AI?
DidactAI is a consulting and thought leadership brand focused on business transformation and AI adoption. This summer, we are looking for a curious and motivated student to join our small team and ship real code under the direct supervision of our Architect and CTO.
About the role
You will work on AI-powered service development, contributing to existing code and building new services on top of our platform. This is hands-on engineering work, not shadowing. You will write code that goes into production, deploy services to the cloud, and present your work to the technical leadership team.
Our stack includes Azure AI and Azure cloud, Streamlit, Python, and where possible Claude Code. You will learn each of these in context as you work.
What you will do
- Contribute to existing services: review, debug, and optimize production code
- Design and deliver new AI-powered services on our platform
- Build Streamlit interfaces for demos and internal testing
- Deploy services to Azure cloud following architect-defined patterns
- Document your code and present a final demo at the end of the internship
What we are looking for
- A student entering or currently in the third year of a Bachelor's program in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Working knowledge of Python (this is a must)
- A strong desire to learn and the willingness to ask questions
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, written and spoken
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
Familiarity with Azure, Streamlit, Git, or Claude Code is a plus but not required. We will teach you what you do not already know — what we cannot teach is curiosity and Python fundamentals.
Logistics
- Duration: 8 weeks, from June 15 to August 7, 2026
- Hours: 100 to 120 total, approximately 12 to 15 hours per week
- Location: 100% remote
- W2
- Reports to: Architect and CTO
How to apply
- Send your résumé and a short note (in English or Spanish) telling us why this role interests you and one Python project you are proud of. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
