What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Dicor Corporation?
Summary/Objective:
A level 1 material handler is the entry level position. The objective of this position is to develop a solid understanding of the basic requirements of the warehouse and demonstrate these requirements at an acceptable level of performance. Development of a strong skills base is required to move to the next warehouse associate level.
Essential Functions:
*Learn and demonstrate proficiency in packaging of aftermarket materials.
*Learn and demonstrate proficiency in manual and automated roof kit equipment operation.
*Ability to operate and pass certification for lift truck operation.
*Complete and demonstrate proficiency in 6S processes and procedures.

Physical Demands: Lifting of up to 50lbs on a daily basis.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
*40 hours per week with potential for overtime.
Travel: No travel is required for this position.
Required Education and Experience:
*High school diploma or equivalent.
