Office Assistant/Data Entry for Tax Preparation Office (Langhorne PA)
Office assistant wanted for tax preparation office during tax season. Part time to Full time, 4 to 8 hours per day. The office is open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Job starts end of January through mid April. Although this is a temporary contract job, please only apply if you can commit to being here for the entire 11-12 week period. We are a small, non-smoking office located near Oxford Valley Mall. Hourly rate based on experience.
Clients will be encouraged to drop off/email their documents through a secure system to avoid in person appts.
Skills/Qualifications
- Must be responsible, reliable, detail oriented, organized, friendly
- PC computer skills necessary with knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must have prior office experience
- Tax experience helpful
- Proficient business-related verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Possess critical thinking skills and good judgment
- Ability to properly handle confidential information
- Prior work reference necessary
Job Duties
- Job includes greeting customers in a friendly manner
- Accepting client documents
- Answering phones
- Compiling and organizing client documents & files for tax return pre-preparation
- Data entry into Tax Program
- Maintaining filing system
- Filing, shredding
- Managing email correspondence
- Maintaining office cleanliness
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
