Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including wine knowledge and cocktail recipes, to answer guest questions confidently
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling sales transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to foster guest satisfaction
