Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance activities on construction sites
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to execute plumbing systems accurately
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Manage daily site operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control
- Lead and mentor a team of plumbers and apprentices to maintain high performance levels
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and other necessary machinery
- Conduct inspections of work sites to identify potential safety hazards or code violations and implement corrective actions
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing systems in residential or commercial settings
- Strong knowledge of construction plumbing, building code compliance, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
- Experience working with gas piping systems, HVAC integration, and mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and heavy lifting
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), remodeling projects, and field service procedures
- Ability to read construction plans accurately and apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites including OSHA standards or equivalent
