Our Marysville location is seeking an experienced and ambitious Electrical Outside Sales Rep to expand new business opportunities. The ideal candidate should be service-driven, goal-oriented and disciplined with electrical knowledge.
As the key link between our customers and technical teams, you’ll play a crucial role in driving revenue, identifying sales opportunities, generating quotes, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role also requires the ability to connect equally well with all Dickman Supply teams, and executive decision-makers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Promotes and supports the corporate sales plans as defined by sales management
· Establishes, develops and maintains superior working relationships with customers and prospective customers
· Provides information to management regarding customer product needs
· Maintains accurate records regarding all sales calls made
· Completes take offs from electrical drawings and submits same to the necessary quotation personnel
· Participate in resolving customer application and/or technical problems
· Address customer complaints promptly to ensure equitable resolution to produce positive customer relations.
·Communicates customer relations issues to appropriate management levels.
Experience and Education Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED
· Experience in the electrical industry
· Essential customer service, communication and listening skills
· Ability to resolve customer concerns
· Experience in the electrical industry
· Product and application knowledge, including ability to read and interpret manufacturer catalogs
· Proficiency in entering orders, utilization of software system
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
· PC proficiency and utilization of Microsoft Office applications
· Knowledge of proper operational procedures.
Physical Requirements
· Be able to lift up to 30lbs
· Bend, kneel and sit for short and long periods of time
