What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate position at Dickman Supply Inc.?
Family owned and operated; our Greenville location is looking to fulfill our Warehouse Delivery Driver position. Dickman Supply, Inc. is the local resource of electrical, industrial and energy efficient products and services.
JOB SUMMARY:
As being a public figure of the company, the Warehouse Delivery Driver will be responsible for maintaining and operating the company's material, handling equipment and delivery vehicles in safe and efficient manner, as well as establishing a superior working relationship with customers, vendors, suppliers and other Dickman Supply employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintains Company delivery vehicles and equipment in accordance with the established
guidelines provided
· Assists in loading and unloading the Company’s delivery vehicles
· Delivers the Company’s products on time and in good condition
· Performs general warehouse duties as directed by the Warehouse supervisor
· Maintains all required vehicle operating reports and maintenance records
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Diploma or GED
· General understanding of warehouse operations
· Valid state operator’s license and safe driving record
· Ability to follow directions and general knowledge of delivery area
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
· Certification of power-truck equipment operation, and ability to run all warehouse
equipment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Be able to lift up to 50lbs
· Bend, kneel, stand and walk for long period of time
