Tasks:
- Teaching German language courses for undergraduate students at the introductory and intermediate levels
- Contribute to our program’s cultural initiatives by organizing and participating in language and cultural events
Requirements (necessary):
1. Completed Master’s degree (or ABD) in German Studies, German as a Foreign Language, Linguistics, Comparative Literature, or a related field (relatively open as long as you have 2.)
2. Experience in German language teaching
3. Very good knowledge of German and English
Requirements (desired):
- Experience with communicative language teaching methods and digital media
- Intercultural competence and pedagogical skills
- Experience with US liberal arts college helpful
