Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist
We are looking for a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist Full- time (40hrs/week) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting individuals with serious mental illness diagnoses in their journey toward recovery and community integration. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will be friendly, non judgmental , creative and flexible in providing group and individual sessions on topics such as coping skills, effective communication skills, social skills and decision making. Candidate should have a solid understanding of Recovery and the mental health skill building process of learn, practice and use in the community of choice.
Education And Experience
A bachelor's degree and 2 years work experience in mental health direct service.
Certifications & Licenses
Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certification is preferred; shall seek to obtain within 2 years of hire in the program with agency training and guidance provided.
