What are the responsibilities and job description for the Small Engine Mechanic position at Dickey Bub Farm and Home?
Small Engine Repair Mechanic Job Summary: Diagnosis's and determines extent of necessary repairs and performs service and mechanical malfunctions on Zero Turn Mowers, push and riding lawn mowers, chain saws, tillers, weed eaters, and related power equipment in a timely manner.
We are looking for someone :
- - who is an organized self-starter
- - who has 2-3 yrs SMALL ENGINE mechanic repair experience in a business setting
- - who has a positive attitude and wants to be a team player
-- Experience with Stihl, Kawasaki, Kohler, Briggs, Cub Cadet, Bad Boy, Gravely and more is a bonus.
Job duties include
- - diagnosis, service and repair of equipment both gas and diesel
- - interacting with the manufacturers in regards to warranty repair or reimbursement
- - sharpening chains, blades and chainsaw chain making
- - discussing maintenance with customers to drive more business
-- additional assembly / jobs assigned by manager
