What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher/Customer Service position at Dick's Towing?
- Take calls from customers and law enforcement for towing services.
- Dispatch calls to tow trucks via two-way radio and pagers.
- Have a good understanding of the streets in Jackson County.
- Help drivers find locations in their map books.
- Understand T-codes and 10-codes and use them properly to communicate with the drivers.
- Know the weight and size of the various types of vehicles, combinations of vehicles and tractor trailer rigs to properly send the right trucks.
- Have a professional and clear voice over the phone.
- Have a professional, friendly, and calming attitude when dealing with customers and law enforcement agencies.
- Possess the ability to multi-task.
- Good computer skills.
- All other duties assigned by your supervisor.

As a dispatcher for JM Northwest you will receive calls for towing services from customers and law enforcement agencies. Dispatch those calls to the tow truck drivers via two-way radio and pagers. Help the drivers with the map book location or cross streets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
