DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Full Time Sorter Operator to join our distribution center team in Smithton
This role will support the DC on the 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00p - 11:00p
Sorter Operators are responsible for monitoring the sorter system per location, calling attention to conveyor problems, clearing jams, and communicating as needed with department Supervisors.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
High school diploma or equivalent <1 year of experienceKnowledge of Building Flow Basic computer skills

Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure proper product flow through system
- Observe sorter monitor & cameras to ensure a constant flow of goods is maintained
- Fix any jams on lines to reduce down time
- Notify management of potential problems with product type
- Alert maintenance of conveyor problems or possible future problems
- Operate manual & mechanical equipment in a safe manner
- Complete documentation neatly & accurately
- Communicate between departmental leads & supervisors
- Other duties as assigned
