OVERVIEW: Role Responsibilities: Improving Safety, Operational Execution, and Profitability (40%) Work directly with supporting Profit Protection Managers. Support, promote, and actively demonstrate company values related to athlete engagement. Identify and address safety concerns and foster a safety-conscious culture among frontline teammates. Promote awareness, accountability, and the reporting of safety concerns and incidents. Seek opportunities to enhance overall safety performance and reduce incidents by actively training teams on adherence to government safety standards and company safety practices. Regularly analyze information related to front-of-house operations to address trends related to return/exchange practices, point-of-sale discounts, and expense control. Provide support related to improving private-label credit penetration, warranty execution, and company loyalty program(s). Regularly coach store teams on core operational processes to improve sales preparation activity execution, hiring and staffing, effective scheduling, payroll management, e-commerce fulfillment, receiving procedures, stockroom organization, pricing/signage accuracy, and inventory management. Regularly analyze information related to back-of-house operations to address trends related to merchandise receiving practices, claims compliance, damage/defective management, transfer execution, loss records/mark-out-of-stock, etc. Address any negative performance trends and actively work to support store teams to achieve high levels of execution and compliance, including recognition for outstanding performance and accountability identified execution opportunities. Utilize teaching and coaching expertise to raise awareness and drive excellence during operational and safety reviews, fostering a culture of awareness, continuous improvement, and compliance within the organization. Work to influence all levels of leadership to understand the cause/effect relationship between operational excellence and athlete engagement; utilize this understanding to drive theft awareness and shrink mitigation. Develop and maintain strong, athlete-focused relationships with store operations and human resources partners. Support the needs of the business. Management of Essential Company Programs (20%) Support store teams on the execution of core operational and shrink reduction programs, including the development of store/district-specific plans designed to impact current trends identified through visits/metrics. Manage merchandise protection supplies and equipment to ensure economic efficiency and availability. Actively review store self-audits to identify areas of non-compliance in safety and operational programs; develop training and follow-up to support teams and district leadership for continued improvement. Review store reported theft and safety incidents, and actively respond to any significant or critical incidents. Consistently support and address DSG and vendor brand standards. Implement and manage enhanced safety strategies post-incident. Investigations Support (15%) Work directly with supporting Field Investigations Manager. Support internal and external investigations in areas of responsibility based on store trends, exception reporting, tips, or cases generated cases by company investigators. Promote teammate awareness of internal theft and generation of tips through education of store teammates and the development of personal connections during store visits, training sessions, and virtual webinars. Identify stores with low incident reporting to support education on elevating awareness related to theft identification, deterrence, and reporting. Inventory Integrity / Movement (15%) Identify and address negative omnichannel fulfillment trends and actively work to support store teams to achieve high levels of execution and compliance. Work with stores and distribution centers to resolve issues that affect the flow of goods, inventory integrity, and discrepancies that impact the teammate and athlete experience. Consistently review inventory adjustments, transfers, and mark out of stocks to identify and address concerning inventory management trends. Development of loss mitigation steps based on inventory movement trends and coaching/supporting store teams on how to react to identified trends to ensure the product is available for athlete purchase. Support store teams with inventory preparation, execution, and post-inventory research. People Development (10%) Responsible for managing direct reports, and supporting teammate individual development plans for career enhancement, progression, and personal growth. Identify and support the development of store management teammates with a desire to grow into store operations multi-unit roles (Sales Manager Reserve Corps). Educate store teams through active communication, conference calls, and meeting participation. Actively participate in self-development for improvement in current role and for future opportunities. #LI-TE1 QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required with commensurate experience. 5-7 years experience At least 5 years of retail operations experience or related retail experience. At least 3 years of experience in a multi-unit environment is preferred. Targeted Pay Range: $83,000 - $138,200. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
