Job Summary

Dick Anderson Construction is hiring Heavy Civil Laborers & Carpenters for a project in Morgan, Utah, near Ogden.

Join a respected heavy civil contractor working on large-scale infrastructure and concrete projects, including utilities, excavation, concrete structures, piling, and site development.

We are seeking motivated laborers, experienced carpenters, and hardworking individuals who want to build a long-term career in heavy civil construction.

Pay

• $25.00 – $43.00 per hour
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain construction sites
• Load, unload, and move materials, pipe, and equipment
• Dig trenches and assist with underground utility installation
• Assist with water and sewer installation
• Build, set, and strip concrete forms
• Assist with concrete placement and finishing
• Work with hand tools, power tools, and small equipment
• Support excavation, grading, piling, and earthwork operations
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
• Work safely around heavy equipment and underground utilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and layout drawings
• Perform concrete placement and finishing support
• Work with gang forms, Symons forms, and wood forming systems
• Assist with pile driving and heavy civil construction operations
• Maintain safe and organized work areas
• Work efficiently with crews to meet production and quality goals
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Construction or heavy civil experience preferred
• Concrete forming experience preferred for carpenter positions
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced team environment
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed
• Welding and pile driving experience preferred but not required
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a fast paced, team environment.
