Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Systems Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows systems administration, patch management, and scripting, with experience in virtualization and automation. While our current infrastructure is primarily on-prem, we are in the early stages of cloud migration, particularly around Office 365, with plans for further adoption of Azure services.

\nKey Responsibilities:\n
- \n\t
- Manage and maintain Windows-based server infrastructure.\n\t
- Perform patch management and vulnerability remediation across systems.\n\t
- Develop tools and automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell scripting.\n\t
- Support VMware virtualization environment.\n\t
- Assist in the migration of on-prem Exchange servers to Microsoft 365.\n\t
- Provide light administration and recipient management for Microsoft Exchange (8 on-prem servers).\n\t
- Support SCCM/MECM as needed during transition to Intune and PDQ for software/patch management.\n\t
- Contribute to planning and execution of cloud initiatives, particularly within Microsoft Azure.\n\t
- Collaborate with the team to implement best practices in system security, automation, and monitoring.\n
\nMust-haves:\n\n
- \n\t
- 7 Years of professional experience with Windows systems administration and support.\n\t
- Adept understanding of patch management and vulnerability remediation processes in SCCM.\n\t
- Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation and tool development.\n\t
- Experience with VMware virtualization technologies.\n
\nNice-to-Haves:\n\n
- \n\t
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based infrastructure.\n\t
- Knowledge of Cisco UCS.\n\t
- Expertise using MECM, Microsoft Intune, and PDQ Deploy.\n\t
- Basic Linux system administration skills.\n\t
- Experience with M365 applications. (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive)\n\t
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange (recipient management and light administration).\n\t
- Professional experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible\n\t
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Azure).\n\t
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.\n
