Essential Job Functions

• Receive and process drivers returning from delivery routes.
• Review and verify route paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Process customer credits, product returns, and reship documentation.
• Coordinate the return of products to inventory following company procedures.
• Account for and document returned driver equipment.
• Perform and document truck cleanliness inspections and communicate concerns to management.
• Enter and maintain accurate information in company computer systems.
• Communicate professionally with drivers, warehouse personnel, and management regarding route documentation, shortages, returns, and related issues.
• Maintain organized records and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support transportation operations.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer proficiency, including data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

• Experience in transportation, warehouse, logistics, distribution, or customer service.
• Experience processing credits, returns, or shipping documentation.
• Experience with AS400

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including exposure to varying temperatures.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.
• Ability to frequently use a computer, keyboard, and other standard office equipment.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Environment

This position is primarily performed in a warehouse transportation office and on the warehouse dock. Frequent interaction with commercial drivers is required throughout the shift.
