Job Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all maintenance aspects of the plant, mobile equipment and associated machinery. The position requires a candidate who knows the requirements of maintaining mobile equipment and processing equipment including screens, conveyors, and able to supervise maintenance and electrical personnel and adapt quickly to changes, communicates effectively and keeps operations running in an efficient manner. Positions may require overtime and some weekends.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Must be able to perform skilled mechanical work and keep detailed written records on equipment used in a 24-hour operation.
- Will be proficient in and responsible for: fabrication, welding, electrical workmanship and general maintenance.
- Will be responsible for budgeting, maintaining inventories, ordering and stocking parts, and obtaining bids for equipment and plant equipment as needed.
- Will be responsible for trouble shooting problems and scheduling appropriate maintenance.
- Observes, regulates, adjusts or otherwise maintains plant equipment in order to assist in the efficient operation of the plant.
- Maintain a schedule of preventative maintenance and repairs that need to be performed.
- Experience with heavy equipment is a plus.
- Must be able and be comfortable with operating and working on equipment with heights greater than 13 feet.
- Be able to adapt quickly to changes and communicate effectively to all parties to keep shipping operations running efficiently.
- Prepare purchase order documents and work with office staff on ordering.
- Ensure plant is up to OSHA standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a routine basis and work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements.
- Excellent communication skills are required to effectively work with others and complete assigned projects safely and on time.
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to quality work and detail.
- Experience in MS Office (especially Outlook and Excel) is a plus
- Ability to work with limited supervision and achieve results
- Must be detail oriented; possess superb follow up and auditing skills
- Must be able to read and understand English
- Must have ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms for work order tracking and maintenance management a plus
- Experience working with PLCs, including system troubleshooting, operational support, and commissioning activities
- Must be able to pass a drug test.

Working Conditions:
- Work performed primarily in manufacturing and processing sites.
- Primarily outdoor environments, moderate to loud noise levels.
- Standing for long periods on concrete or other hard surfaces; walking over rough and uneven terrain
- Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing.
- Frequent use of ladders and steps for accessing equipment.
