The Sales Associate will develop and maintain a database of multifamily property owners, investors, and related market contacts; conduct outbound owner outreach; and support the development of future sell-side, buyer-representation, and 1031 exchange advisory assignments.
This role is suited to an organized, professional, and self-directed candidate interested in multifamily investment sales and relationship-driven business development.
Responsibilities
- Research multifamily properties and ownership throughout Southern New Hampshire and the New Hampshire Seacoast.
- Build, maintain, and regularly update an accurate owner, property, and contact database.
- Conduct consistent outbound calling and email outreach to multifamily owners and investors.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with owners, investors, property managers, and local market participants.
- Identify potential transaction activity, including possible sales, acquisitions, refinances, ownership transitions, and 1031 exchange opportunities.
- Gather preliminary property information, including address, unit count, ownership details, rents, and financial materials when available.
- Maintain complete CRM records, including contact notes, activity history, opportunity status, follow-up dates, and next steps.
- Coordinate with senior advisors on valuations, client proposals, market outreach, and prospective client meetings.
- Support ongoing market research and pipeline development across the assigned territory.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, research, organization, and relationship-management skills.
- Comfortable with regular outbound phone and email prospecting.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain consistent activity in a remote environment.
- Interest in multifamily investment sales, commercial real estate brokerage, real estate finance, or advisory services.
- Experience in sales, business development, real estate, property management, financial services, or a related client-facing role is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and standard remote-work platforms.
- Basic understanding of multifamily property operations and financial concepts—including rent rolls, T12s, income, expenses, and valuation—is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Southern New Hampshire and the New Hampshire Seacoast multifamily market is preferred.
Role Focus
The role requires consistent relationship development and disciplined follow-up. Multifamily owners may consider a transaction for a limited period due to financing, ownership, operational, tax, or personal circumstances. The Sales Associate will maintain regular market coverage and timely follow-up so the firm is positioned to advise owners when an opportunity develops.
