POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Manager will lead the production team, which oversees the pre-
production and production stages of the product life from adoption to the delivery of
finished goods.
Role includes providing analytical support to determine the root
cause of process issues as well as being proactive in resolving concerns/issues as
they arise throughout our Production Life Cycle.
In addition, provide support for operational and strategic initiatives as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Oversee all Time and Action calendars and review Production Status
Reports (PSR) with production team to ensure that cross-functional
teams as well as overseas partners are keeping to established
milestones/deadlines in Production Life Cycle
● Coordinate with cross functional teams – Design, Technical Design,
Operations, and Logistics to ensure production calendar dates are
achieved.
● Daily communication with overseas partners and customers regarding all
buys and associated deadlines.
● Comprehend customer QA/ TOP requirements and able to direct cross-
functional team as well as overseas partners to ensure customer
requirements are adhered.
● Effectively communicate to senior management and business associates
all potential risks that may impact production and delivery.
● Review and maintain margin reports and updates on costing.
● Ensure on-time delivery by troubleshooting issues working with internal
teams, overseas partners, and logistics.
● Review PP samples to ensure the raw materials are meeting the
standard.
REQUIREMENTS:
● Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in apparel production
● Strong product development understanding
● Knowledge of womens' sportswear clothing
● Highly motivated, self-starter with excellent verbal and written
communication skills. High sense of accuracy & urgency
● Strong interpersonal and project management skills
● Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload for maximum efficiency, and
manage multiple deadlines.
● Excellent computer skills and must be proficient in MS Office, especially
Excel, and Google Suite.
● Experience in HSN or QVC market is a plus
● Knowledge of Web PDM and PLM systems (Centric) is a plus.
Work Location and Schedule
This job will require that you work from our office in New York, NY, weekdays during
normal business hours.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
