ABOUT THE CASE
We are building a strong, dependable team around an individual who requires hands-on support and close attention to medical and personal-care needs.
The individual is preparing to receive care in the home and requires caregivers who understand that quality care is about more than completing tasks. We are looking for staff who will learn the individual, recognize changes, communicate concerns, follow established protocols, and help provide a safe and comfortable home environment.
Depending on the approved plan of care, nursing delegation, staff qualifications, and assigned responsibilities, care may involve support related to:
- Tracheostomy care and monitoring
- Ventilator-related observation and support
- Respiratory equipment and alarms
- Pulse oximetry monitoring
- G-tube/PEG-related care and feeding support
- Medication administration
- Blood glucose monitoring
- Personal care and ADLs
- Transfers and positioning
- Skin integrity monitoring
- Communication assistance
- Mobility assistance
- Observation for pain, discomfort, respiratory changes, or other changes in condition
- Accurate documentation and communication with nursing/management
Employees will only perform duties they are properly trained, certified, delegated, and authorized to perform.
WHY THIS CASE MATTERS
We are looking for caregivers who understand the importance of helping an individual remain safely at home while receiving respectful, dependable, person-centered care.
The right DSP will be patient, attentive, compassionate, confident, and dependable. You should be someone who takes pride in learning your client's routines, preferences, communication methods, and care needs.
Consistency matters. We want staff who are interested in becoming part of the individual's regular care team—not someone looking to pick up one or two shifts and disappear.
THIS POSITION IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU:
Have several years of direct-care experience, are already comfortable around medically complex individuals, have worked with a trach, understand the seriousness of respiratory care, can administer medications within your certification and authorization, and want a consistent case where your experience can make a difference.
APPLY TODAY – IMMEDIATE NEED
If you have 5 years of caregiving experience, active medication certification, and real trach/complex-care experience, we want to hear from you.
