Quality Assurance Tester

Overview

We are hiring a QA Tester with 5 years of Oracle Xstore POS experience to support testing across retail store systems and enterprise integrations. This role focuses on end-to-end testing across Xstore POS, Oracle ERP, Gift Card, and Promotion systems in a multi-system environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional/integration/end-to-end testing for Oracle Xstore POS
• Validate transaction and data flow across systems:
• Oracle Xstore POS
• Gift Card & Promotion systems (e.g., Clutch)
• Oracle ERP (Finance / SCM)
• Log and manage defects with clear documentation (steps to reproduce, logs, evidence)
• Collaborate with teams across multiple systems (POS, ERP, Gift Card, Promotions)
• Work closely with Xstore developers, ERP teams, and third-party vendors to troubleshoot issues
• Retest fixes and validate defect closure
• Perform frontend UI and backend data validation using SQL for transaction accuracy
• Understand and work with database structures and table relationships
• Support E2E/SIT, UAT, and Go-Live testing cycles

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of Oracle Xstore POS testing experience
• Strong understanding of:
• Retail POS transactions (sales, returns, layaway, etc.)
• Store operations and workflows
• Experience with integration and end-to-end testing across multiple systems
• Hands-on experience with SQL and data validation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with:
• Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle Integration Cloud
• Oracle Xoffice and Xstore POS
• Gift Card platforms (Clutch, SVS, Blackhawk, etc.)
• Promotion/discount engines
• POSLOG / transaction logs
• Data conversion and migration validation
• Experience supporting E2E/SIT, UAT, CRP cycles, and Go-Live
• Experience in multi-store or phased POS rollouts

Hybrid work can be from Florida (Miramar) or from NY (Manhattan)
