JOB SUMMARY:
Handles change transactions, EZ Pay cash outs, check and credit card transactions for all areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provides quality customer service including check cashing, selling and making change, cashing out EZ Pay tickets, cashing tokens and chips, and processing credit card Comchecks.
- Maintains accurate accountability for all funds assigned. Cashiers and Vault Cash-iers are prohibited from working out of a co-worker’s drawer, and are prohibited from allowing a co-worker to work out of their drawer.
- Maintains daily shift paperwork in accordance with company policy, procedures and state gaming regulations.
- Maintains key control.
- Must have knowledge and understanding of Title 31.
- Aware of all promotions.
- Cleans all business surfaces (i.e., counter top) during shift.
- Keeps counter tops picked up (i.e., papers removed, etc.).
- Pit fills.
- Answer phones with greeting and first name (i.e., Good Morning, Diamond’s Casi-no, this is Bambi).
- When checking out you must leave drawer with adequate amounts of all cash de-nominations, per departmental policies, and all coin cans full. This will insure that the next on-duty cashier can open and operate drawer in a timely manner.
- Must work well with others and be a team player.

- Knowledge of Central Credit.
- Additional duties, assignments or priorities as directed by Management including but not limited to Vault, Soft Count and Players Club.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educa-tion and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and cor-respondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of or-ganization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
