We are seeking a Lead IT Integration Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will be a key architect and engineer of our data platform, guiding the strategy for critical business operations. You will oversee the maintenance of robust legacy pipelines in Microsoft SQL Server and Informatica while aggressively driving our modern data strategy using Snowflake and dbt Cloud. The ideal candidate is an expert in both ETL and ELT patterns and will help define how we leverage Snowflake's ecosystem-including Streamlit apps and Cortex AI-to deliver enterprise-wide actionable insights.Job Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to
- Design and oversee the implementation of scalable data architectures (ETL/ELT) that integrate data from diverse sources into our Snowflake Data Cloud.
- Migrate legacy Informatica and SQL Server workflows into dbt Cloud and Snowflake-native architectures.
- Develop and optimize Snowflake objects, including Stored Procedures, Tasks, and Streams.
- Drive the adoption of Streamlit apps and leverage Snowflake Cortex AI to institutionalize self-service analytics and machine learning capabilities across the organization.
- Manage complex job scheduling using Automic and ensure high system availability and performance.
- Act as a technical liaison to Data Scientists and Business Leaders, ensuring data assets are engineered to maximize operational efficiency in our oil and gas assets.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent relevant industry experience
- 10 years in Data Engineering, with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry required.
- Proven track record of leading technical projects or mentoring senior engineering teams.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Mastery of the Snowflake Data Cloud, specifically utilizing Notebooks, Stored Procedures, and Tasks.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Informatica, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Deep expertise in architecting both traditional ETL and modern ELT design patterns.
- Experience with enterprise schedulers like Automic.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building Streamlit apps for business users.
- Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex AI for LLM and ML integration.
- Exposure to Snowflake Openflow.
- Experience with Apache NiFi for real-time data ingestion.
