What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Pre-Production Associate position at DiamondBack Abrasive?
We are a small, expanding, light manufacturing company looking for dependable, responsible part-time (20 hours per week) hourly production workers to help in supporting our production capabilities. Perfect for someone looking to supplement their income. Opportunity for advancement within the company to full-time for the right person. No prior experience needed, we will teach you what you need to know. We need an ambitious person, willing to work hard, pay attention, ask questions and learn. Reliable transportation is a must. A good work ethic will go a long way here.
The work is light industrial, principally cleaning, taping, and assembling wheels in preparation for our plating process. Great for someone who is detail oriented and enjoys crafts. There may be additional light industrial type activities (sandblasting, polishing, etc.) involved as well. Some mechanical aptitude would be a plus, but is not required. Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Starting hourly wage is $15 per hour. Part-time hours are flexible but would typically be between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm. BONUS PROGRAM and FREE HEALTH CARE offered upon promotion to full-time.
