We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to establish new clients, maintain current revenue, and continually develop a list of dealership clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Compile lists of prospective sales leads from professional sources such as LinkedIn, trade shows, industry-related associations and events, auto auctions, industry-related publications, referrals, social media, and other lead-generation sources provided to you by Diamond Warranty.
- Contact and qualify prospective car dealerships through referrals, cold calls, and leads
- Sales is all about relationships. Your job is to develop and maintain long-term business relationships with both potential and existing clients through frequent service calls, relationship building, issue resolution and training.
- You must be able to identify and create friendly relationships with key dealership personnel such as dealership owners, general managers, sales staff, and F&I department personnel.
- Communication and a sense of urgency is key to a successful career with Diamond Warranty.
- Provide support and solutions that may occur regarding your dealership clients, policyholders, claims, billing, etc. in a fast and efficient manner.
- Stay up to date on latest market trends and methods.
- Understand the competition in regard to products, pricing, methods, and relationships.
- Work with upper management to identify strategic partnerships with industry organizations.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly business reports.
- Communicate with upper-level management and provide detailed sales reports outlining current revenue streams and potential sales opportunities.
- Represent Diamond Warranty at assigned industry trade shows and association meetings in a friendly and professional manner.
- Protect all proprietary company information, data, and client information.
- Experience, skills, or a passion for all-things automotive is a plus.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of inside sales experience with a proven track record.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Accountability and sense of urgency are a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Ability to professionally and politely make decisions and solve problems on the fly.
- Reliable transportation is a must!
- Ability to travel.
- Valid driver’s license, ability to navigate sales territory and maintain a clean driving record.
- Must have reliable vehicle, valid registration, and adequate vehicle insurance at all times while employed with Diamond Warranty.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
