TV and Film Production Security Officer

Job Summary

Diamond Touch Security (DTS) is hiring licensed security officers for T.V. film and production roles. Responsibilities include protecting cast, crew, equipment, and locations during studio and on-location shoots. Officers will conduct pre-shoot risk assessments and implement security plans to minimize risks like theft and disturbances.

We seek energetic, professional individuals with a positive attitude for a film project lasting through early Spring 2027. Candidates must ensure the safety of all involved, be punctual, dependable, and flexible. Reliable transportation is required, or candidates should be willing to use public transport to reach assignments throughout NYC and nearby areas.

Duties

• Provide security support during production and filming activities.
• Maintain a safe environment at the production office and remote locations.
• Control access to locations, ensuring only authorized persons are present.
• Identify potential risks and report them to production management.
• Assess risk factors at remote locations and recommend actions for dangerous conditions.
• Stay professional, courteous, and attentive while on duty.
• Take responsibility for assigned tasks and be vigilant in addressing potential issues.
• Intervene in heated or intense situations when necessary.
• Collaborate with the team and follow instructions from the security lead or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Security Guard license.
• Hold a Cat. F-04 or be willing to obtain it.
• Have 8-hour and 16-hour annual certificates.
• Be a U.S. citizen and at least 21 years old.
• Preferred experience in Production, Film, & Television Security or similar events.
• Ability to work up to 12 hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.
• Capable of working indoors and outdoors in varying weather, standing or walking as needed.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance.
• Adhere to an all-black security dress code.
• Pass all pre-employment screenings.
• Use Diamond Touch Security scheduling and reporting app is required.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• Security: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Security Guard Card (Required)
• F0-4 certification (Preferred)
