Duties

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, and networking within assigned territories
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through effective account management and personalized customer service
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to showcase features and benefits tailored to client needs
  • Manage territory sales by planning visits, setting appointments, and executing strategic sales campaigns to maximize coverage
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals that benefit both parties while meeting company targets
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and generate new leads in B2B markets
  • Provide ongoing support to clients post-sale through upselling, cross-selling, and addressing any concerns promptly
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and identify new growth opportunities
  • Deliver compelling product demos that highlight technical features and value propositions for diverse customer segments
  • Lead territory management efforts by planning routes efficiently, prioritizing high-potential accounts, and expanding market reach

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Expertise in business development techniques including lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales approaches
  • Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for tracking sales activities and customer data
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with outstanding customer service abilities to foster long-term relationships
  • Knowledge of territory management strategies to optimize coverage and maximize sales potential
  • Ability to deliver engaging product demos that clearly communicate technical features and benefits
  • Analytical skills for market research, data analysis, and performance metrics evaluation
  • Experience in retail or technical product environments is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to present confidently across various audiences
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward managing time effectively in inside or outside sales settings

Pay: $52,366.77 - $150,000.00 per year
