The primary responsibilities of a Kitchen Manager are to oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and supervise the staff. This includes coordinating food orders, ensuring food preparation and storage comply with health and safety regulations, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization.
Key duties of a Manager include:
- Supervising and directing kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Training kitchen staff on food prep, plating, and safety procedures
- Ensuring the kitchen adheres to all relevant health and safety regulations
-Work with FOH employees to ensure highest guest satisfaction
To be successful in this role, Managers typically need 2-3 years of experience in a similar position. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are also essential.
