Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fractional Accounting Manager to lead and oversee financial and administrative operations on a part-time basis with a flexible schedule. Duties
- Provides leadership to the Accounting Department
- Provides direction of all administrative functions including, but not limited to, accounting, credit, insurance, reporting, information technology, payroll and ESOP.
- Develops and enforces the company’s financial policies, systems, and controls in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Manage and oversee ERP system
- Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company
- Complete month end accounting close in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage year-end financial closing, ensuring excellent and timely results
- Manage inventory and cost accounting for manufacturing operations
- Streamline accounting functions and operations
- Oversee daily cash transactions and provide pertinent information to President / CEO
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5 years’ experience in accounting, manufacturing experience required
- Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet, product costing and cash flow management; exposure to ESOP administration a plus
- Understanding of human resource and payroll functions
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar leadership role within diverse sectors such as nonprofit, governmental, or corporate environments.
