What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at Diamond Roofing Systems LLP?
Diamond Roofing Systems is seeking a Sales Representative plays a crucial role to provide and lead full service estimating projects/proposals that will be varied and span multiple types of commercial roofing contracts and become an integral part of the team.

Prepare work to be estimated by gathering details and information related projects

Identify and research potential customers or clients. Generate leads through methods such as referrals, networking and leveraging online platforms

Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential clients. Address client inquiries, concerns, or objections in a professional and timely manner

Review and utilize historical data from previous P.O.s, subcontracts, productivity and other reports as needed to assess unit and labor calculations

Identify labor, material, and time requirements by correctly gathering information and details.

Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
-
Attend all pertinent pre-bid meetings and review proposals and specifications to determine scope of work and estimate.

Track and manage awarded contracts including estimating change orders, additions, credits, materials, and more

Manage and maintain working documents and cost databases on a regular basis to support estimated figures
-
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications

Conduct roof surveys and meet with clients to assess requirements, take measurements, photos, and collect data to be used in plan for proposals

Contribute to team effort and work with other departments to assess rates to be used in estimates

Assist team members in the sales department for preparation of inquiries, final bids, etc

Provide technical support and guidance to personnel as required

They must develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, communicate project updates, and manage expectations to ensure stakeholder satisfaction

Required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (technical training and sales experience)

Experience in commercial roofing industry

Strong and comprehensive knowledge base of estimating techniques, data analysis and strategic planning

Effective oral and written communication skills

Valid Driver's License
Preferred:

Proficient in the safe handling and utilization of ladders

Knowledge and background of products, systems, building codes and specifications of roofing
