Primary Responsibilities

Diamond Ridge Development Corporation is looking for a Rest Area Attendant for the Salt River Canyon Rest Area. We're looking for individuals in the surrounding areas of the Rest Area, for purposes of the commute, while any qualified candidate is welcome to apply. Responsible for completing the day-to-day custodial/grounds keeping work at the assigned location and establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with the customer, all employees and visitors.

This person is responsible for completing the on-site custodial and grounds, contract work at the assigned location site and ensuring contract specifications are met. This includes, but is not limited to, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, collecting and removing trash, dusting, cleaning windows, lawn maintenance, raking, leaf blowing, picking up trash, grounds upkeep, trimming, etc.

Required Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation
• Speak, read and understand English
• 2 valid forms of ID (Driver's License, Social security card, ID card, passport, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds minimum
• Janitorial experience a plus
• Repetitive pushing, pulling, stretching, reaching, kneeling, stooping and bending
• Ability to do minor repairs.
• Must be able to work around moving mechanical parts, traffic conditions, and outdoor conditions.
• Trailor hookups on property may be available
