Primary Responsibilities
Diamond Ridge Development Corporation is looking for a Rest Area Attendant for the I-8 Sentinel Rest Area. We're looking for individuals in the surrounding areas of Dateland AZ, Aztec AZ, Colfred AZ to support the Sentinel Rest Area, for purposes of the commute, while any qualified candidate is welcome to apply. Responsible for completing the day-to-day custodial/grounds keeping work at the assigned location and establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with the customer, all employees and visitors.
This person is responsible for completing the on-site custodial and grounds, contract work at the assigned site. This includes, but is not limited to, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, collecting and removing trash, dusting, cleaning windows, lawn mowing, raking, leaf blowing, picking up trash, grounds upkeep, trimming, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- 2 Forms of ID (Driver's License, Social security card, ID card, passport, etc.)
- Must speak and write English
- Janitorial experience a plus
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds minimum
- Ability to do minor plumbing repairs
- Repetitive pushing, pulling, stretching, reaching, kneeling, stooping and bending
- Must be able to work around moving mechanical parts, traffic conditions, and outdoor conditions.
