Primary Responsibilities
Diamond Ridge Development Corporation is looking for a Rest Area Attendant for the I-10 Texas Canyon Rest Area. We're looking for individuals in the surrounding areas of Benson AZ, Dragoon AZ,Wilcox AZ and Cochise AZ to support the Texas Canyon Rest Area, for purposes of the commute, while any qualified candidate is welcome to apply. Responsible for completing the day-to-day custodial/grounds keeping work at the assigned location and establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with the customer, all employees and visitors.
This person is responsible for completing the on-site custodial and grounds, contract work at the assigned location site and ensuring contract specifications are met. This includes, but is not limited to, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, collecting and removing trash, dusting, cleaning windows, climbing up ladders to clean, lawn mowing, raking, leaf blowing, picking up trash, grounds upkeep, trimming, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid Driver's License
- Must speak and write English
- Janitorial experience a plus
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds minimum
- Ability to do minor plumbing repairs
- Repetitive pushing, pulling, stretching, reaching, kneeling, stooping and bending
- Must be able to work around moving mechanical parts, traffic conditions, hot and humid conditions, fumes/airborne particles, toxic/caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, extreme hot/cold, risk of electrical shock and/or vibration.
