Primary Responsibilities
Diamond Ridge Development Corporation is looking for a Rest Area Attendant for the I-10 Sacaton Rest Area. We're looking for individuals in the surrounding areas of Sacaton, Maricopa and Casa Grande to support the Sacaton Rest Area, for purposes of the commute, while any qualified candidate is welcome to apply. Responsible for completing the day-to-day custodial/grounds keeping work at the assigned location and establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with the customer, all employees and visitors.
This includes, but is not limited to, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, collecting and removing trash, dusting, cleaning windows, climbing up ladders to clean, lawn mowing, raking, leaf blowing, picking up trash, grounds upkeep, trimming, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Speak, read and understand English
- 2 valid forms of ID (Driver's License, Social security card, ID card, passport, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds minimum
- Repetitive pushing, pulling, stretching, reaching, kneeling, stooping and bending
- Ability to do minor plumbing repairs.
- Janitorial experience a plus
- Must be able to work around moving mechanical parts, traffic conditions, and outdoor conditions.
