Seeking a Safety Manager to join our growing Pittsburg team! As a Safety Manager you will partner with operations to promote and influence the SHEQ program as it is implemented in field operations. You will report to the Safety & Quality Manager.*Candidates must be local to the area*All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US and will not require current or future sponsorship.Responsibilities: Ensure that employee SHEQ programs are standardized and applied according to written policies.Conduct incident reviews and provide incident reports and root causes within policy timeline.Complete internal SHEQ assessments, communicate findings to Leadership and make corrective action recommendations.Provide instruction as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on SHEQ tasks.Assist operations in Site Specific Training.Recommend and ensure additional individual and group training is provided.Oversee the SHEQ reporting process for assigned area.Work with Operations teams to ensure customer needs are met.Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership.Education, Skills, Experience Needed: High school Diploma or equivalent required.2 years of underground utility construction experience.Knowledge of OSHA, PHMSA, and DOT guidelines.Knowledge of underground utilities and locator markings, gas pipeline construction and replacement is strongly preferred.Completed OSHA 10 and Competent Person Training preferred.OSHA 500/510 and/or Board of Certified Safety Professionals Designations are preferred.
