Job Summary:
Diamond Real Estate Management is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks to maintain the safety, appearance, and functionality of our residential and/or commercial properties. This role is crucial to providing excellent service to our tenants and ensuring the long-term quality of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep to the properties.
- Respond promptly to service requests and complete repairs in a timely, professional manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of units, common areas, and building systems.
- Prepare vacant units for new tenants (turnovers), including painting and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, materials used, and hours worked.
- Assist with groundskeeping duties such as trash removal, snow removal, landscaping, and exterior cleaning.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed.
- Be available for on-call rotation and emergency maintenance situations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
